  • Collaborative research areas 

The research for this group is focused on all aspects of HIV. The group is, however, open to syndemics  such as HIV-TB, HIV-malaria, HIV-other STIs, HIV-NCDs, HIV-Malnutrition etc. Being major public health challenges in the sub-region, these ‘syndemics’ require the full weight of basic science, clinical research, translational research, social/behavioural research, social policy initiatives.
